Thanks for replying, Andy. Sounds like my discomfort right now is merely just that. As I stated, the pain is minimal and very manageable. Nothing like what you experienced, so I think I can breath a bit easier now (broken rib or not <g>). I sometimes just get confused and overwhelmed with these seemingly unrelated symptoms, pains, annoyances, etc. If it doesn’t hurt here, then sure as shit, it will hurt there. Gawd. I had an MRI a number of months ago. It showed three herniated disks at C4-5, 5-6, and 6-7. But, no stenosis was mentioned. I went to physical therapy for a while, and it did help. I still do the exercises, because they really do relieve the pain. I tend to shy away from chiropractors. I don’t trust them. For the one or two that may be good, there seems to be 50-60 that seem to be quacks. The last one I went to was a complete quack. I never went back, obviously. I do have misalignment problems, most notably the scoliosis. But that is more a function of my short leg, which seems to have presented problems over the years all the way up to my neck. Not much I can really do about that, other than wear orthotics and a lift, which I do all the time (except around the house in slippers, or barefoot on the beach, or really hot days, when I MUST wear sandals). And, I am NOT getting any kind of leg legthening surgery. Not at this point in my life. But sometimes I wish that option was open to me when I was younger, even though the discrepancy isn’t that terrible (1-1/2 inches). SHIT, I kid you not.
